The Delhi-based art collector has stolen the thunder from the Bollywood Wives and has been owning it like a true queen. In a recent interview with The Times Of India, Shalini Passi revealed that she likes to attend big parties, meet everyone for a few seconds and get back home without indulging in meaningful conversations. While discussing parties, Shalini shared an instance from the pandemic where she told her therapist she wanted to be like a 'normal person' only to find it boring.
In conversation with The Times Of India, Shalini Passi revealed that there was a time in the pandemic when she started working with her therapist and told them that she wanted to be like a normal person. Shalini recalled working with her therapist for 6-8 months when they asked her to make a plan with her friends. She also revealed that she likes going to big functions and coming back, so when her therapist suggested planning a hangout, Shalini agreed and said that she was going to be like other people. She said:
"There was a time during the pandemic when me and my therapist started working. I told my therapist that I want to be like a normal person. For about 6-8 months we were working. She said you should make a plan with your friends. Because I don’t make a plan. I like to go to big functions and come back. So I said I’m gonna be like other people. I just want to be like my friends."
Shalini, revealing what happened next, laughed and said that she found the entire concept of normal extremely boring. She said that she found it boring and gave up. She added that she had realised that she just wanted to be her authentic self. She stated:
"So we worked on it and then I just told her one day, 'This is very boring. Can we just not do this? I just wanna be myself.'"
Shalini further added that she loves meeting people without an agenda, but intimate conversations scare her. She added that she likes to go to big parties and interact with everyone for a few seconds. However, she refrains from indulging in deeper, meaningful conversations. She shared:
"I like to go for big parties so I can just meet everybody for 30-30 seconds, and not have deeper meaningful conversations, and then move to next. It’s the intimate conversations that I’m afraid of."
