Shalini Passi recalled how her teacher was embarrassed by her singing skills on the show, 'Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives'.

While her gorgeous outfits, love for art, and museum-like home grabbed the limelight, she recently shared how her music teacher was left embarrassed after she showed off her singing skills on the show.

Shalini Passi recalls leaving her teacher embarrassed with her singing performance on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives

In an episode on Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives, Shalini Passi showed off her singing skills. She was seen singing the song, Mitwa, while in another episode, she sang a song to a giraffe. Well, talking about the same, in an interview with Miss Malini, Shalini Passi revealed that her teacher was not happy with her singing performance on the show.

The philanthropist shared that her sir told her that she hadn't been practising enough. Shalini's sir also mentioned that she should start rehearsing as she can't keep singing like this while his other students go to shows like Indian Idol. Recalling what her teacher told her, Shalini said:

"For the singing shot, my sir told me that you have not been practising. You have had no time post COVID. My students go to Indian Idol. You cannot sing. He told me, ‘Madam, I am a respected person. My students to go Indian Idol. You can’t be singing in this voice without any rehearsals’.”

In the same interview, Shalini Passi talked about the overwhelming love that she has been receiving for her stint in the show. The philanthropist added that it's something else, and the way people say that they want to be like her and sing like her, they seem mostly like the giraffe, who was present there when she was singing. In Shalini's words:

"The kind of love that I am getting is something else. Like people are saying ‘we want to be like you, we love what you do, we love your singing’. I am like, ‘What?’ They are like the giraffe would have come. The giraffe was actually almost there.”

When Shalini Passi talked about being insecure about her 'bigger' nose

In an interview with Brut, Shalini Passi talked about her insecurities. The philanthropist added that, earlier, she used to be very insecure about her nose, as she felt it to be a bit bigger. Shalini mentioned that she's an artist, thus she is very much adapted to the proportions, and thus she used to feel that her nose should remain in a bit more gap than her upper lip. Shalini shared that she had stopped smiling because of her insecurities, as she felt her nose would look bigger. Well, later, she read somewhere that those who have bigger noses actually possess strong personalities, and soon after that, she learned to own what she has.

Shalini Passi's personal life

Shalini Passi got married when she was only 20 years old. Talking about the same to Brut, Shalini shared that a group of girls gatecrashed her friend's wedding to talk to her and ask her about the details of her personal life including if she was engaged. Well, those girls talked to Shalini's now in-laws and later, in the evening industrialist, Sanjay Passi's parents met her family member, and their wedding was fixed. They got married in 2001, and they have a son, Robin Passi.
