After winning hearts with her stint in Bigg Boss 15, Shamita Shetty is enjoying all the love from her fans, friends and family. On February 2, 2022, Shamita turned a year older, and her family hosted a grand birthday bash. Her family and friends graced the celebration. Pictures and videos from the same have been making rounds on the internet.
In the last few months, we had spotted Shilpa Shetty Kundra being a pillar of strength for her sister, Shamita Shetty. She had cheered for her and had taken a stand for her whenever it was required from outside of the BB house.

On February 2, 2022, Shamita celebrated her birthday with her family. The birthday girl was seen posing with her sister, Shilpa. The sister duo looked gorgeous as they donned pretty dresses. Shamita also posed with her boyfriend, Raqesh Bapat. We also spotted Shilpa Shetty Kundra's husband, Raj Kundra, who joined the celebrations. However, he didn't stop to pose for the shutterbugs. For the unversed, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's family had gone through many legal troubles. It had all started after her husband, and Raj Kundra was arrested for making pornographic films in Mumbai. Currently, he is out on bail. However, whenever he is spotted at an event, he never poses for the shutterbugs.

After participating in Bigg Boss OTT, Shamita had talked about her decision of participating in the show while her family was going through so much trouble. In an interview with The Indian Expres, Shamita had shared:
"So I was already offered the show, and I decided to continue with the decision. It was getting really tough for me out here. I was subjected to trolling a lot. And most of it was unnecessary as I had nothing to do with it. My family also thought that it was best to be away and locked in Bigg Boss. It was difficult as we all were going through a lot, and for me, work has always been like therapy. It heals me. And even when this came my way, I had the choice to go and work, and I didn't want to let it go."
On the work front, Shamita Shetty was the fourth runner-up of Bigg Boss 15! While she had not won the reality show title, she has gained a lot of fan following!
