As per the World Health Organisation, Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, which causes severe pain in the pelvis and makes it harder to get pregnant. There is no cure for the disease. But its symptoms can be treated with medicines or, in some cases, surgery, which help to relieve pain. Moreover, laparoscopic surgery also potentially helps any lady to get pregnant. Sharing the video, Shamita penned a long note for her followers, which can be read as:
"Did you know that almost 40 % of women suffer from Endometriosis.. and most of us are unaware of this disease!!! I want to thank both my doctors , my gynac dr Neeta Warty and my Gp dr Sunita Banerjee for not stopping til they found out the root cause of my pain! Now that I’ve had this disease surgically removed I’m looking forward to good health n now more physically pain free days ! #endometriosis #love #gratitude."

However, she then read about perimenopause and could finally diagnose the real problem. She mentioned all her anxiousness and confusion were gone when, with the help of her trainer, she could lose 3 kgs of weight in two months.
