He further added, "It was a long time ago and I was quite immature. One gradually matures with time and experience. Yes, I have made mistakes. As human beings, we all make mistakes. I realise that now but unfortunately, it’s five years down the line. I should have realised it then, but no hard feelings. We have both moved on. In the same interview, Sharad shared his qualms of being  comittment phobic. He was quoted as saying, “If I have been with someone for two years or seven years, clearly I am not commitment-phobic. I am with the person, I love the person and it’s all hunky-dory. In all my relationships, I have had some great moments, it’s been fantastic."

He added, "We have also fought like cats and dogs, but the kind of family I come from, I know where to draw the line. In a relationship, you have your good times and then you experience the bump and you don’t know how to react. The topic of marriage comes up and you start stepping back and your partner wonders why. I don’t blame them; they are right in feeling that way. Like I have said in the past, the fault is probably mine. I always fall short of taking that final step and that’s something I need to rectify. I have to really work on that.”

Earlier also he had shared his point of view on relationship with Divyanka. Sharad said, "After parting ways with Divyanka, people told me that I was wrong, but I think it is my life. Nobody has right to judge me because you have not gone through that situation.” He also shared, “I have committed many mistakes in my life. But one thing I have learned that If you fail to forget and forgive then you cannot move on in your life...” (Don't Miss: Mom-To-Be Mira Rajput Kapoor Reveals Who Will Name Her Second Child, Details Inside!)

For the ones who are not aware, Divyanka has moved on in life and is now married to famous television actor and her once co-star, Vivek Dahiya. On the other hand, Sharad was dating ex-Splitville contestant and actress, Pooja Bisht. But things couldn't gel well between the two and they broke up recently.

After his break-up with Pooja, she told a leading daily, "Look, what signals are you sending out to the outside world when you end your relationship few days before marriage, by saying that you are marriage-phobic? People consider actors as role models. Isn't he sending out a loud message that you should only date and not marry? Is he not sending out a message that the institution of marriage is nothing to be proud of? What he needs to understand is that he needs to come out from his bubble that everyone thinks like him."

Pooja also shared,  “Ssharad started acting weird around six months ago when he suddenly became inattentive and disinterested. However, I assumed that it was because of stress at work; I couldn’t fathom that he was planning to end the relationship.”

Sharad, on the other hand, stated, “There were personal issues from my end. I tried to make the relationship work, but our differences were irrevocable. Pooja is a nice girl and it was great till it lasted. I wish her all the best.” (Also Check: No Gold And Platinum But Only Silver Jewellery In Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Wedding?)

Sharing the flashpoint moment, Pooja revealed, “He came and told me said that he is dev gan and I am rakshas gan. He said that according to his astrologer we shouldn't get married else something terrible will happen. I tried to reason with him that his astrologer has not told him the right things, but he wouldn"t listen. Woh toh Kasam TV serial ka story hai, usne mujhpe chipka diya. I even told him that what if I would prove that the dev gan and rakshas gan thing he is selling me is not true. You see, I am manushya gan and not rakshas gan. I asked him if I give him the facts, would he marry me? And you know what? He said, "No, I still can't marry you."”
