Padmini Kolhapure's 'Bahu', Shaza Wore A Love Story Lehenga On Wedding With Priyaank's Hidden Note

Padmini Kolhapure's daughter-in-law, Shaza Morani shared how her wedding lehenga had her 16-years-long love story embroidered on it with her husband, Priyaank Sharma's hidden love note.

Every girl dreams of her wedding, and with her D-day coming closer, her search for her perfect lehenga intensifies. Padmini Kolhapure’s daughter-in-law, Shaza Morani’s wedding lehenga, is winning our hearts for the personalised love added to it.

For the unversed, Padmini Kolhapure and Pradeep Sharma’s son, Priyaank Sharma was dating producer, Karim Morani’s daughter, Shaza Morani, for more than 16 years. In February 2021, Priyaank and Shaza had a court marriage and later, the family had organised a party for their friends and family members in Mumbai. It was in March 2021, when Priyaank and Shaza had tied the knot in the Maldives in a traditional manner, and their wedding was the talk of the town.

Shaza Morani’s wedding lehenga’s lilac colour had already made its place in our hearts, and now, as her designer, Kresha Bajaj, shared the story of her wedding attire, our heart couldn't stop oozing love. Kresha shared a series of pictures on her IG handle and penned Shaza’s experience with them. She wrote in the caption:

"Long before I got married I knew that when the time comes, I’d want to be in a Love Story lehenga by Kresha! I’m unsure if this happens often, but I actually picked the FIRST lehenga I put on at her beautiful store. As soon as I wore it I felt it was a personification of me and everything I love.”

As Shaza Morani wanted a lehenga by Kresha Bajaj that depicted her 16-year-long love story, along with it, she got a beautiful hidden surprise from her husband, Priyaank Sharma. She added:

“Full of beautiful colors and elements from the ocean, intricately detailed into a gorgeously unique artwork - but the best was yet to come. She embroidered highlights from our 16-year love story so so beautifully it makes my heart full thinking of it even today. The sweetest was a personalised love note she got from my husband @priyaankksharma right before the wedding and secretly embroidered it into the lehenga. I was so surprised and touched.”

At the end, Shaza talked about her experience on how she had felt wearing a lehenga that had her love story and a love note from her husband stitched to it. She concluded:

“Once I was all ready, as beautiful as it looked, it was more how I felt! I felt embraced by the love of my love story and freshly emotional with my husbands' words. It was like a warm giant hug as I walked towards my happily ever after! @shazamorani.”

July 1, 2021, had marked the birthday of Shaza Morani and as she had turned a year older. Her saasu maa, Padmini Kolhapure, had penned a beautiful wish for her on her IG handle. Sharing pictures from Shaza and Priyaank’s wedding functions, she had written:

“Happy birthday my gorgeousss @shazamorani Keep smiling keep shining Thank you for making our family complete.”

Amongst all the pictures shared by Padmini Kolhapure, it was Shaza Morani’s pictures in her wedding lehenga that had stolen the show. The gorgeousness had opted for a lilac lehenga with sequence work all over it. She had completed her look with a green and gold polki necklace, earrings and matha patti. Leaving her tresses loose, Shaza had exuded the vibes of a modern bride. Her jaimala made of green leaves and baby birth flowers had accentuated her look perfectly.

We totally love how Priyaank surprised Shaza with a hidden note on her wedding lehenga.
