Shehnaaz Gill’s life changed overnight when her alleged boyfriend, Sidharth Shukla had breathed his last on September 2, 2021. Seeing the one you love the most, dying in your arms can never be easy, and Shehnaaz has been dealing with it for a month now. Sidharth was 40 when he had breathed his last due to a massive cardiac arrest.
Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla had met in September 2019, and their journey of togetherness had ended in September 2021. Their fans were worried about Shehnaaz as the last she was seen was at Sidharth’s funeral, looking all devastated. While Shehnaaz is finally back to work as she had attended a promotional meet for her upcoming film with Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa, her spunk and spark was lost.

Now, according to Bollywoodlife, Shehnaaz Gill is trying really hard to stay strong. The portal quoted its source as “She is trying hard to stay strong but when reality strikes, she realises that her world has crumbled. She has lost the spunk and spark that she is known for.” The source also mentioned that Shehnaaz is trying to come to terms with the loss and the people around her are taking care of her.
The source further mentioned that late Sidharth Shukla’s mother, Rita Shukla has become Shehnaaz’s support. The portal quoted its source as “Diljit is such a wonderful person and he has been on Shehnaaz’s side and constantly caring for her during the shoot. She is also on calls with Sidharth’s mother Rita Maa every few hours. Rita Maa had been a big support, motivating Shehnaaz to move past the loss.”

According to a source of Bollywoodlife, Sidharth's mother, Rita Shukla is taking care of her and being strong for her. She is not leaving Shehnaaz alone. The source had added, "Shehnaaz has been in a state of shock and totally broken. But Sidharth’s mother Rita aunty has been her rock of Gibraltar. She has been strong herself and has been helping Shenaaz to mourn and move on." The source had also revealed that Sidharth's mother, Rita believes that the only way for Shehnaaz to lead a normal life is by getting back to work.
Shehnaaz Gill had always dreamt of marrying Sidharth Shukla, and after his death, there were reports that they were all set to tie the knot in 2022. A fan page of ‘Sidnaaz’ had shared that a close friend of Shehnaaz had revealed that the alleged couple was supposed to tie the knot next year. In another report, it was mentioned that Sidharth and Shehnaaz were engaged and were going to shift to their new house with his mother. They had planned to get married in December 2021 and had even booked JW Marriot for the wedding.
On the work front, Shehnaaz Gill's film, Honsla Rakh will be released on October 15, 2021.
