Shehnaaz Gill's 'Honsla Rakh' director talked about her current situation and recalled how she used to talk about her alleged boyfriend, late Sidharth Shukla a lot!
Losing someone, who meant the world to you feels like the end of everything! Shehnaaz Gill is dealing with a similar storm in her life after the death of her alleged boyfriend, Sidharth Shukla. Her life had come to a standstill, when Sidharth had breathed his last, in her lap on September 2, 2021. At the mere age of 40, Sidharth had succumbed to a massive cardiac arrest.
Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s two-year-long journey had come to an end when his mortal remains were cremated at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai on September 3, 2021. The pain was evident on Shehnaaz’s pale face and her dishevelled condition at his funeral had broken many hearts. Everyone is worried about Shehnaaz’s whereabouts and health, and her upcoming film, Honsla Rakh’s director shared a few details about the actress.

In an interview with SpotboyE, Honsla Rakh’s director, Amarjit Singh shared that he is in constant touch with Shehnaaz Gill, and pray for her to get back to her normal life. He said, “There was nothing much left from her part. Shehnaaz is a brave girl and I just hope and pray she comes back to her normal life. Yes, we speak on the phone but I never talk much about the current situation as I felt, we should now give her strength and positive vibes.”
The first trailer of Honsla Rakh starring Shehnaaz Gill with Diljit Dosanjh was released earlier this week and garnered lots of praises from the fans. Talking about if he ever got a chance to speak with late Sidharth Shukla, Amarjit Singh said, “No, I never spoke to Sidharth Shukla. I only knew him through Shehnaaz Gill as she used to speak a lot about him. We were very shocked when we heard about the news as he was so young and had so much to come.”

Shehnaaz Gill’s fans are worried about when she will resume work and when they will get to see her. According to reports, the makers of Shehnaaz’s Punjabi film, Honsla Rakh with Diljit Dosanjh had planned to shoot a promotional song on September 15, 2021. However, keeping Shehnaaz’s condition in mind they had to postpone the shoot.
ETimes had quoted producer, Diljit Thind as “We are waiting for her to recover and heal from the grave loss. We had originally planned to shoot the song on September 15 in London, but that couldn’t happen because of obvious reasons. We will finalise a new date soon and would want Shehnaaz to be a part of it, too, as she is an integral part of the film. I am in touch with her manager and hoping that she will contact us in a few days.” According to a report in BollywoodLife.com, after Sidharth Shukla's sudden demise, Shehnaaz Gill is in a state of shock, and his mother, Rita Shukla is helping her. The source had added, "Shehnaaz has been in a state of shock and totally broken. But Sidharth’s mother Rita aunty has been her rock of Gibraltar. She has been strong herself and has been helping Shenaaz to mourn and move on." The source had also revealed that Sidharth's mother, Rita believes that the only way for Shehnaaz to lead a normal life is by getting back to work.
