Even though she had not won the title of the show, it was her camaraderie with the late actor, Sidharth Shukla that touched the hearts of many. The couple also had a dedicated fans, who call themselves SidNazians.
However, on September 2, 2021, Shehnaaz's entire world changed after the shocking demise of Sidharth Shukla at the age of forty. In the past few months, Shehnaaz has shown amazing strength and become an inspiration for many, who have been dealing with a close person's loss.

On July 6, 2022, Shehnaaz took to her Instagram handle and shared a monochrome video, wherein she bared her heart out while singing. The video starts with Shehnaaz giving her gyaan as she said, "Barish ke mausam mein gaane ka mann kare toh gaa lena chahiye." After which, she sang her favourite song, 'Kon tujhko itna pyaar karega'. Alongside it, she wrote:
"Dil ki baat!"
After which, her fans flooded her comments section. One user wrote, "Not just u even aapki voice bhi gaana gate Siddarth ko hi yaad karti hain that's called real love." Another user commented, "Sid ko miss kr rhiii ho." One of her fans shared that they know it is for Sid.
A few months ago, Shehnaaz was papped in Mumbai, after a meeting. Pictures and videos of it had gone viral on the internet. However, it was her eagle-eyed fans, who had noted that Shehnaaz had donned Sidharth's glares. A fan page of Shenaaz had shared a collage of the couple.
