Shehzada Dhami recalled the horrifying situation, and molestation Krishna Mukherjee had to face on the sets of 'Shubh Shagun'. He also shared how he saved her.
Krishna Mukherjee is one of the famous faces of the television industry. The gorgeousness has acted in several serials such as Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Twist Wala Love, MTV Big F, Naagin 3, Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein, and Shubh Shagun, among others. She is best known for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It was a few days ago, when Krishna made it to the headlines after she shared a horrifying experience of working on the serial, Shubh Shagun. Well, Shehzada Dhami recently shared how the actress was molested on the set.
While talking to Bollywood Bubble, Krishna Mukherjee's co-star, Shehzada Dhami was asked about the allegations that were heaved upon Shubh Shagun makers about the payment issues. The actor said that every artist's payment on the show is due. He also talked about Krishna's statement, wherein she mentioned that Shehzada helped her to come out of the horrifying situation she had to face. He said that Krishna is a woman first, and then an actor, and the way she received the behaviour, he didn't feel it to be right. In Shehzada's words:
“Mujhe payment nahi mili hai uss show se. Krishna aur baaki artists ka bhi paisa nahi aaya hai. Also, I saw her interview where she admitted that I had helped her get out of the situation. I had helped her because she is a girl first and then someone’s co-artist or an actor working under someone. So agar usko wo cheez mein molest.”
In the same interview, Shehzada Dhami stated that Krishna Mukherjee was too nervous and was in shock when the incident happened to her. Recalling the incident, the actor mentioned that Krishna was changing inside the makeup room, and someone started banging on the door from outside. Shehzada stated that he scolded the person who was doing the same, and then when he opened the door, Krishna was in utter shock. Recalling how he saved Krishna Mukherjee, Shehzada mentioned:
"And molest bhi nahi bolunga but wo ghabra gayi thi bahut jyada. She was changing inside and someone was banging her door from outside. So I reached there and scolded the person saying ‘you can’t do this to a girl. Just keep in mind that she is a girl first then an artist’. When I opened the door uske chehre pe ghabrahat thi. So that time I had saved her and send her back safely.”
Earlier in April 2024, Krishna Mukherjee took to her IG handle and penned a long note revealing the horrifying experience she faced on the sets of Shubh Shagun. The actress shared that she first decided not to talk about this, but she couldn't hold it anymore. Krishna tagged the producer and revealed how she was harassed by the production team, who not only opted not to clear her dues, which was huge but also behaved with her in a bad way. She added how she was locked inside a makeup room once just because she didn't want to shoot due to being ill. She also revealed how people started banging on the door when she was changing, as if they would break the door. Krishna Mukherjee's claims caused a clamour in the television industry, and several actors and actresses backed the former at the same time.
