Shilpa Agnihotri talked about her difficult journey of embracing motherhood and the joy of spending her every day with her baby girl.
Television's power couple, Shilpa Saklani and Apurva Agnihotri, welcomed a baby girl in October 2022. After a wait of eighteen years, the duo are finally living the dream of being parents. Recently, Shilpa talked about her difficult journey to embrace motherhood and how her life has changed after the arrival of her little princess, Ishaani Kanu Agnihotri.
Shilpa, who likes to keep her personal life private, opened up about embracing motherhood after eighteen years of marital bliss in an interview with The Times of India. Shilpa and Apurva have adopted a baby girl and shared the news with a happy video on their social media handles. Shilpa shared that she always wanted to get married and become a mother of a baby girl.

However, Shilpa and Apurva had to wait eighteen years for their dream to become a reality. They wanted to become parents for a long time. She was quoted as saying:
"I always had a dream to get married and become a mother to a little girl. However, we had to wait for 18 years to become parents. We wanted to be parents a long time ago, but it took a while and we are very happy today."
Shilpa added that their parenting duties have started, and they enjoy waking up late at night and putting their baby back to sleep. Shilpa also shared the reason behind their daughter's name. She said they named her Ishani because it is another name for Goddess Durga and Goddess Parvati.
Apurva also talked about his daddy duties and revealed that his daughter is not cranky. He shared that he loves feeding and burping her. He shared that they are happy that they became a family of three in 2022. The doting daddy also revealed that he wants his daughter to become a tough girl and get into adventure sports like him.
Shilpa and Apurva's baby girl was born on October 14, 2022.
