On December 19, 2019, Shilpa took to her Instagram handle and posted a video of their pre-Christmas celebration from Hyde Park Winter Wonderland with her sister, Shamita and both of them were seen enjoying their moment. In December 2018, Shilpa had celebrated Christmas with her hubby, Raj Kundra, son, Viaan, mommy, Sunanda Shetty and sister, Shamita Shetty. In a throwback interview with The Times of India, Shilpa had talked about her equation with Raj and how he is a doting daddy to their son, Viaan Raj Kundra. She had said, “I met Raj at a time in my life where I was riding this wave with the Big Brother success. He lived in London with his parents who had told him about me, ‘Yeh Shilpa Shetty aayee hai aur usne Indians ka naam ooncha kiya hai.’ He came to my hotel and the first thing was that he came and touched my mother’s feet even though he was a Londoner. And that sums up the person he is. He is very respectful and treats my parents like his.”
Shilpa Shetty is a doting wife and her love story with Raj Kundra is not less than any fairytale. In an interview with Filmfare, Raj had once stated what drew him towards Shilpa. He had then shared, “It was love at first sight. From the moment I saw her, I knew I’d love her to be my life partner. She’s got an angelic side to her. Her homely side grew on me as I got to know her. She’s a great housewife. She’s a supermom! She’s the wind beneath my wings and I try to be her support system.
