Bollywood diva, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had embraced motherhood for the second time at the age of 45 via surrogacy. Shilpa and her husband, Raj had given their fans a sweet surprise when they had announced the arrival of their Laxmi in their lives. On February 21, 2021, the lovely couple had introduced their baby girl, Samisha Shetty Kundra to the world. Shilpa's Instagram bio aptly describes the current phase of her life, which is, "Mom, Wife, Actor, Entrepreneur, Mindful Yogi, Wellness Influencer & An Eternally Grateful Positive Thinker."

Last year, on October 25, 2020, Shilpa had penned a long note on how little Samisha's first Kanya Pujan went. For the Kanya Pujan, the gorgeous mommy, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had glowed in a green, silk suit and little Samisha had looked cute as a button in a green and maroon ensemble. Shilpa's note could be read as "Ashtami - Kanchika Pooja. On the auspicious occasion of Ashtami today, we were fortunate and blessed with our very own DEVI, Samisha. Her first Navratri, so performed the Kanya Pooja, with her and eight little girls, welcomed with all precautions taken. In an interview with Etimes, Shilpa had revealed her idea of balancing her work life and her super mom duties. The actress had said, "I micro manage things. It is very difficult but not impossible. I’ve a great team and they are very strong, they are my spine and they are very irritating. They really pack my day. They decide in such a way that I don’t compromise on my work or my personal life and I continue to be a good mother. I have a woman team and I make sure to shoot only thrice a week maximum. I take my meetings at home only." Shilpa had further added that she designates a time period when nobody can talk to her and at that time she is a totally dedicated mother. Shilpa had also added that when she is on the sets she is totally engrossed in her work and she forgets that she has a house and family. In her words, "I make sure that wherever I am whether it's my home or sets at that time I do justice to it. I feel it is very important to love in that moment and to enjoy."
