Just a few months after the Enforcement Directorate seized their properties worth crores, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty added another swanky car to their automobile collection.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are often in the news for some or the other reason. Previously, they garnered much attention when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized their property worth crores in connection with a Bitcoin fraud case. Months after the incident, the couple is once again making headlines.
Recently, Raj Kundra was spotted driving a brand-new luxury car. The absolutely stunning green-coloured sports car was delivered to the businessman by the British premium sports car manufacturer, Lotus. Meanwhile, as per several media reports, Raj's new swanky ride is valued at over Rs. 3 crore.

In a video shared by a paparazzi page, Raj was seen taking a test drive of his new automobile. Later, he was spotted driving his swanky new car to his and Shilpa's Juhu mansion. In another clip, Raj was accompanied by his son, Viaan. The father-son duo sported a casual look in T-shirts and trousers as they were seen inspecting the car minutely.

The popular couple, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, often come under scrutiny due to their businesses. Just a month back in June 2024, the couple got into legal trouble when they were accused of cheating a trader in a gold scheme. Meanwhile, their properties worth Rs. 97.79 crore were seized by the ED in April 2024 under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).

Raj and Shilpa's assets, including apartments in Mumbai and Pune, were confiscated as part of an investigation into a 2017 Bitcoin fraud case. The ED accused Raj and others of cheating the public of a huge sum of money, which reportedly totalled up to Rs. 6,600 crore. The couple had put out a statement via their advocate, Prashant Patil, which read:
"We have complete faith in the Honourable Judiciary. I believe when we make our fair representation before the Honourable Enforcement Directorate, even the investigation agencies may grant justice to us. We have faith in the fair investigation. We stand committed to co-operate with the authorities as and when required."
