Amid her dating rumours with Kushal Tandon, Shivangi Joshi slammed people for misinterpreting her words.
For the past few months, there have been constant rumours about Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon’s relationship. They have won many hearts for their sizzling chemistry in their daily soap, Barsatein-Mausam Pyar Ka. However, rumour mills have it that the couple ended up falling in love and are in a serious relationship.
However, the actress recently took to her social media handle and posted a story on the constant rumours pertaining to her relationship with Kushal. The actress revealed how she said something at an event and her words were misinterpreted using voiceover.

In her long note, Shivangi also stated that the rumours have taken a toll on her and has caused her family emotional turmoil. Slamming people for ruining her reputation, Shivangi wrote:
“I’m very disappointed by a group of people for misconstruing my words and misinterpreting them. Recently, at an event, I was asked a generic question about a lot of rumours going around, to which I said, ‘That’s what the rumours are for right? They come and go.’ Unfortunately, my response was tweaked with voiceover, and the outcome was a lot of uncalled-for remarks and statements causing emotional turmoil for my family and me.”
According to a report by News18, Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon came close while shooting for their serial, Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka. A source close to the duo revealed that the two started dating and are quite serious about one another. The source also added that Shivangi and Kushal would even exchange the rings soon, but they want to keep it hush-hush as they are extremely private people.

On May 13, 2024, a leaked picture of Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi created a buzz on social media. In the picture, Shivangi and Kushal were reportedly spotted enjoying their vacation in Thailand. The snapshot gathered immediate attention, as it came at a time when Kushal and Shivangi dismissed their dating and probable engagement rumours. The picture featured the two actors being completely lost in each other’s eyes, as they chatted along joyfully.
After Kushal and Shivangi’s dating reports surfaced on the internet, the latter cleared the air with a cryptic post. Taking to her IG stories, Shivangi dropped a note which addressed how she gets fascinated with the number of rumours about her surfacing everywhere.
