After Sana Makbul won the trophy of 'Bigg Boss OTT 3', none of her co-contestants were seen congratulating her by coming up on the stage. Now, Shivangi Khedkar opened up about the same.
The top 5 contestants in the third season of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss OTT, were Kritika Malik, Sai Ketan Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Naezy and Sana Makbul. Among these, Sana emerged as the winner of the show's third season, while Naezy became the first runner-up, and Ranvir Shorey was the second runner-up. However, when the show's host, Anil Kapoor announced the winner's name, and Sana was jumping in excitement, none of her co-contestants were seen congratulating her by coming up on the stage.
Now, Shivangi Khedkar opened up about the real reason why no co-contestants showed up on the stage when she won the show. For the unknown, Shivangi is allegedly in a relationship with Sai Ketan Rao, and has been supporting his journey inside the show, even being outside. Talking about the same reason behind such an attitude from the co-contestants of Sana, including Sai Ketan, his alleged girlfriend-cum-actress, Shivangi penned a note on her Twitter handle. She wrote:
"Before more hate tweets go around. Just wanna tell Everybody was told not to get up and go on stage bcoz they wanted to capture her reaction after the win. Only family will go wer the clear instructions. there was no hate on stage today!!!!"

On the grand finale night held on August 2, 2024, Anil Kapoor announced Sana Makbul as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3. The diva bagged the prize money of Rs. 25 lakh and the trophy, apart from her fees for her stint in the show. However, what won the viewers' hearts was the moment when she was seen sharing the trophy with her bhamai (a sweet name with which she calls him), Naezy.
After the grand finale of BB OTT 3, all the contestants engaged in one-to-one conversations with several media houses. In one such interview with Free Press Journal, Ranvir Shorey was asked if he was happy with Sana Makbul lifting the winning trophy. The actor, who turned out to be the second runner-up of the show, mentioned that, according to him, there were more deserving candidates than Sana in BB OTT 3.

In another interview with Telly Chakkar, Sana was heard opening up about her journey inside the BB OTT 3 house. She revealed that people called her selfish for her stint in the show. Moreover, she hinted at Ranvir Shorey and revealed how the latter questioned her close friendship with her co-contestants, Naezy and Vishal Pandey. Bashing Ranvir Shorey for calling her with mean words, Sana mentioned that he would never accept his mistake.
