Before Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani's dreamy wedding in 2019, Shloka's sister, Diya Mehta, had tied the knot with Ayush Jatia, son of Amit Jatia, who is the MD of Hardcastle Restaurants (McDonald's' Indian franchise). The duo had gotten married in April 2017 in Manama, Bahrain.
For the unversed, Shloka Mehta and Diya Mehta are the daughters of businessman, Russell Arunbhai Mehta, managing director of Rosy Blue India and jewellery designer, Mona Mehta. They also have a brother, Viraj Mehta. Viraj is married to Nisha Sheth, daughter of Bharat Sheth, who is the owner of Great Eastern Shipping Company.

Just like every sister, Shloka Mehta and Diya Mehta share a great bond. On August 1, 2021, Diya took to her IG handle and shared a Reel with Shloka from their then and now twinning moments. In the Reel, Diya and Shloka were seen jumping and dancing on the bed while twinning with each other. Diya captioned the Reel as "Sister-sister: my without fail one call a day! Matching then, still matching now." On Diya's Reel, Shloka commented with sibling and heart emoticons.
Diya also shared stunning pictures from her wedding, featuring Shloka Mehta and Isha Ambani. Penning a heartfelt Friendship Day note for her girl gang, Diya wrote, "And the girls I can’t go a day without! Thanks for being the best miss you every day #happyfriendshipday."
Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta had studied at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai and his twin sister, Isha Ambani, was her classmate and a very close friend of Shloka's sister, Diya Mehta. In Isha's words, she is like a third sister to Shloka and Diya. In an interaction with the Vogue, Isha Ambani Piramal had spoken about her twin brother, Akash Ambani and her friend-turned-sister-in-law, Shloka Mehta.
