The entire nation is busy humming the tones of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya', but it is the Ambani clan who took the limelight with their grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebration post their kids' marriage.
It is that time of the year again when the entire world is busy humming the tones of Ganpati Bappa Morya and dancing their hearts out as they welcome Gannu ji at their abode. And Asia's richest family, the Ambanis are not far behind, in fact, they had hosted a grand Ganesh Chaturthi celebration this year, in order to take blessing from Vighanharta to bless their daughter, Isha Ambani and son, Akash Ambani's marriage. The highlight of the night was Nita Ambani's bond with her future daughter-in-law, Radhika Merchant and her daughter, Isha Ambani. We love how gorgeous Isha was looking in a pretty pink lehenga and Radhika had donned a similar hue for the celebrations. But it was Shloka Mehta's picture we missed the most. And in case, you too are waiting to see the new bahu of the Ambanis, then scroll down!
Recently, we got our hands on Shloka's gorgeous pictures from the Ganpati celebrations shared by one of her fan pages. In the pictures, we can see Shloka wearing a brocade rani pink lehenga which consists of a lehenga skirt with statement latkans and front slit choli. In another picture, Akash and Shloka are seen taking blessings from Ganpati Bappa. Checkout the picture below:
The starry Ganesh Chaturthi celebration reminds us of Akash's grand wedding this year in March. We love how the entire family believes in celebrating every occasion together with utmost oomph. We remember how after the wedding festivity was over, Nita ji and Mukesh ji had organised a special bash, as an expression of gratitude and respect for the people who make the city and nation safe, and to seek their blessings for the newly-married couple, Akash and Shloka. They had celebrated the new beginnings of their family with thousands of members of Army, Navy, Paramilitary Forces, Mumbai Police, Railway Protection Force, and their families. For those who don't know, Shloka is the daughter of a diamantaire, Russell Mehta. However, all those shiny diamonds never interested her. In an interview, the diva had talked about the business, and had stated, "I’ve never had an interest in business. I think the diamond industry is not very friendly to women. It’s changing but most women typically become jewellery designers or they work in human resources...those kinds of roles. I don’t think that I have the creative aesthetic sense to be a designer." She had further talked about working for social welfare, and had shared, "From my experience, I had recognised that funding is a huge limitation and often your role in an NGO can be chasing grants. I wanted to be on the other side, giving grants, understand what things a grantmaker looks at, and how they decide which NGO to give."
