Amid Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik's divorce reports, the former Pakistani cricketer breaks his silence on the matter.
For the past few days, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are hitting the headlines for their alleged separation. And Sania and Shoaib’s silence had only added more fuel to the speculations. However, now, the former Pakistani cricketer reacted to reports and called it a personal matter.
In a recent interview with a news portal, Shoaib addressed the ongoing speculations of his divorce from Sania Mirza. Talking about the same, Shoaib stated that he does not appreciate the constant intervention of media in his personal matter. In his words:
“It is our personal matter. Neither I nor my wife is answering this question. Leave it alone.”

Earlier, it was reported that Sania and Shoaib were already living separately and had taken the legal route to formalise their divorce. It is also reported that Sania had reportedly caught Shoaib cheating on her and decided to part ways with him. However, as per the Pakistani media, it is also stated that the star couple is already divorced. The news was confirmed by a close source from Shoaib’s management team in Pakistan.
A few days after the speculation of their divorce made its way to the public eye, both Sania and Shoaib announced a chat show together called, The Mirza Malik Show. After the duo announced their show, reports were rife that their professional commitments had refrained them from announcing their divorce publicly. The report further stated that Shoaib and Sania are under a contract to shoot all the episodes of the show, before officially parting ways.

While the real reason for Sania and Shoaib’s split is unknown, many gossip columns suggested that Shoaib Malik had reportedly cheated on his wife, Sania Mirza with famous Pakistani model and actress, Ayesha Omar. A few days back, many close pictures of Ayesha and Shoaib made their way to the internet, shocking the netizens.
For the unversed, Sania and Shoaib tied the knot on April 12, 2010, and welcomed their baby boy in 2018.
