Recently, Shreyas Iyer spilt some beans on falling for a gorgeous girl for a second, during his first IPL matches years ago on Kapil Sharma's show on Netflix.
Indian cricketers, Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma appeared on the second episode of Kapil Sharma's show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, on Netflix. The episode was filled with many hilarious moments. However, there was a segment in the show when Kapil made Shreyas confess that he had almost fallen for a beautiful girl, sitting in the audience during a match. He also added that he waited for her message in his Facebook inbox.
Recently, we stumbled upon a clip of Kapil Sharma's show on Netflix, featuring Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma. Among the various questions, Kapil Sharma asked Shreyas about the attention he receives from women during the matches. Kapil mentioned that whenever Shreyas hits a boundary in the match, the cameraman focuses on girls holding posters with 'Shreyas Marry Me' written on it. Kapil questioned if the cricketer tries to locate the girl in the audience or asks the cameraman about her.

To this, Shreyas shared an interesting anecdote about his first year playing in the Indian Premier League. He revealed that a beautiful girl was sitting in the stands and he waved to her. Shreyas also revealed that after the match he checked his inbox on Facebook in the hope of seeing her message. He was quoted as saying:
"Jab bhi mai first year khel raha tha IPL mein, tabi ek stand mein mujhe ek bahut beautiful si ladki dikhi thi. Tabi usko mai ne 'Hi' kiya tha. Fir uske baad mai aisa matlab ye h bahut saalo pehle ka baat hai. Toh fir mai match ke baad aise, matlab vo dekhte hai na hum kabhi kabhi Facebook vo bahut ekdum chal raha tha. Tabi mai aisa try kr raha tha ki message aaye, check kra tha."
During the same episode, Kapil asked Shreyas to name a player, he loved when he was a kid. Shreyas took Rohit's name and revealed that he learned a lot of his traits by watching him. However, he clarified that he didn't took Rohit's name because of the cameras. He was quoted as saying:
"Joke nahi kar raha hoon ya aise he butter up nahi kar raha hoon, but Rohit bhai chote se idol rahe hai. Kyuki vo bhi Mumbai se hai, mai bhi waha se hoon aur unko dekhte hue mai grow hua hoon."
However, it was Rohit's reply that left everyone in shock. He stated that the current players keep saying bad things about him behind his back in the dressing room. Rohit even added that today's youngsters are dangerous. He said:
"Dressing room mein bahut gaaliya dete hai. Ye saamne abhi log hai, camera hai. Aajkal ke youngsters dangerous hai bhai bahut."
