The granddaughter of Hyderabad tycoon Dr GVK Reddy (her mom, Shalini is his daughter), Shriya Bhupal has walked down the aisle with the grandson of Apollo hospitals Chairman and founder, Prathap C. Reddy, Anindith Reddy. Shriya Bhupal and Anindith Reddy tied the knot, which was solemnised by Sadhguru, Jaggi Vasudev, in Hyderabad on July 6, 2018. For the ones who don’t know, Shriya is a prominent fashion designer and the mastermind behind the label, Shriya Som. On the other hand, Anindith is a national racing champion and an entrepreneur. On their wedding day, the couple looked like a dream. Shriya looked ethereal in her Tarun Tahiliani heavy embellished saree with all diamond jewellery during her pheras. Everything right from her earrings, neckpiece to the bracelet, everything was diamond. On the other hand, the groom, Anindith wore a simple a cream-coloured sherwani teamed up with a heavy royal stole.

And guess what? Surprise surprise! Shriya and Anindith sported two different looks for their two ceremonies. The aforementioned look was during their pheras and when they entered the venue, they wore different outfits. For her entry and jaimala ceremony, Shriya could be seen dazzling in a pastel pink coloured lehenga with 3/4th sleeves and a veil. This time she could be seen wearing diamond jewellery set but a different one, which she teamed up with diamond bangles unlike bracelets in the above one. All this while, Shriya and Anindith’s wedding has been the talk of the town. It was as grand an affair as it could have been. Right from the pre-wedding masquerade ball in Paris at the Chantilly Palace to her wedding, each and everything about this wedding was ‘Big Fat’ in a literal sense. Talking about the masquerade ball, a guest who attended the bash was quoted as saying, “It was a spectacular event! There were music and dance, fireworks and stunning performances, and the evening was dream-like. On July 5, 2018, Shriya and Anindith had a grand sangeet ceremony and then too they looked like pure royals. The then bride-to-be Shriya wore a long white gown and completed her look with diamond maang teeka. Yes, on her sangeet also, the royal princess wore diamonds only. It is also reported that the celebrations are not yet over. They are definitely gonna have a reception and a brunch at their place. Talking about her look for 4th brunch, which is “Indian Renaissance” theme at home, she shared, “I am wearing a yellow lehenga from my label for the 4th brunch which is an “Indian Renaissance” theme at home. The inspiration for the flowers come from Daisy ’s, sunflowers, daffodils. So, tonnes of bright happy yellows, offwhite and whites, highlighted with delicate French knots and Swarovski crystals. Keeping my SS18 theme in mind with the yellows as well as incorporating a bit of a fun ruffle into it!”
For the uninitiated ones, Shriya was earlier engaged to Akhil Akkineni, son of the south superstar, Nagarjuna in December 2016. Shriya and Akhil were supposed to have a May wedding in Italy which was later called off when things didn’t go well between the two. Shriya and Akhil had a tiff at the Hyderabad airport. One of Akkineni’s aides revealed, "They had a huge fight at Hyderabad Airport. Initially, we all thought it's just the usual lovers' tiff, but things haven't been the same between them ever since, that's for sure."
