When Anushka and Virat got married secretly, all the Bollywood freaks are now ready to hear the news of any other famous diva getting hitched secretly. One such actress for whom people are eagerly waiting to see as a real-life bride is Kamal Haasan’s daughter and Luck fame actress, Shruti Haasan. For those who don’t know, the actress is dating a handsome British artist, Michael Corsale. And it’s been a long time!
In an exclusive interview with Bollywoodlife, the diva opened up about her marriage plans. Not just that, she even spoke about her alleged beau Michael. When asked if she will be tying the knot in 2018, she said, “No. The answer is a big firm no. I am not getting married this year. So everybody can relax (laughs) If I am doing it, there’s nothing to hide. Yesterday, on 28 January, it was Shruti’s birthday and when she was asked if Michael would be a part of the party, she was quoted as saying, “Yes, He is my friend so he will be around. I am not trying to be secretive. It’s just something I necessarily don’t want to put the spotlight on. That’s it. I am not hiding anything. I don’t feel the need to discuss it in detail.”
She even went on to share things that she admires in him. The online portal quoted her as saying, “He is very calm. His calmness. And his beard (laughs) If I grew to a beard, I would like one like him. He has been a great influence. I think calmness brings clarity and that’s a good thing.” In an interview with another leading online portal earlier, the actress revealed that she won’t mind having kids before marriage. She retorted, “I am not thinking of marriage now but I will marry when I feel it’s the right time. If I find the right guy, I won’t hesitate to have children even before marriage. I won’t mind what media or people think of me.”
Sometime back, she even opened up about her failed relationship in the past. She thought it to be love but eventually, after they parted ways, she realised that. Here’s what she said then, “In the past, I liked a music director and we were very close for some time. I thought I was in love but only after our break-up, I realized that it was just an attraction. After that, I never had a boyfriend. I didn’t even have time for a boyfriend at this point in my career.”
