Netizens have seen Shruti Haasan in the car with a mystery man after her breakup with Santanu Hazarika. Here's what they felt about the same.
Shruti Haasan has been one of the top actresses from the South Indian industry. It was in 2009 that the actress made her Bollywood debut with Luck and is known for her ethereal beauty and acting chops. The actress was in a four-year-long relationship with Santanu Hazarika, and it was in 2024 that the former pair broke up. Now, eagle-eyed netizens lately found Shruti in a car, laughing with a mystery man, as the paps captured the duo in the night.
Once upon a time, Shruti and her ex, Shantanu, used to paint the entire town red with their mushy pictures before troubles cropped up in their lives. The actress seemed to have moved on past the heartbreak and was seen in the car with a mysterious man. Netizens immediately started talking about the duo dating and were confused over who the mystery man with Shruti was. One user on Reddit wrote, "Looks like Harshwardhan Kapoor." Another one commented, "Isn't she dating the Vikram movie director Lokesh". However, one user said that the director was already married. Some users said that the guy was Shruti's friend, musician, and bandmate.
As seen in the picture, Shruti's mystery man wore a green jacket and had a long beard and hair. He was seen having a candid moment with Shruti and holding his chain. A section of netizens shared that he need not be Shruti's boyfriend, but one user also wrote, "Girls have the worst taste in men."
According to a report by the Hindustan Times, a source close to Shruti and Santanu shared that the pair parted ways as they were facing personal wavelength issues and for the exact reasons they decided to part ways. The duo started living separately since March 2024 and the source said:
"They broke up last month. Since there were personal wavelength issues, they decided to part ways amicably."
Shruti and Santanu have unfollowed one another on social media, and Santanu also commented that he is sorry and does not wish to comment on it. Shruti has also removed all her pictures with Santanu from her social media feed. She had also shared a cryptic note that spoke about how it's been quite a journey, learning so much about herself and others. No one should ever apologise for who they are or what they need to be. The actress, earlier in an interview with the Bombay Times had shared about her relationship with Santanu. In her words:
"Santanu and I had some common friends. Our friendship blossomed because of our mutual appreciation for the love of art, music and cinema. People like him are rare. He is very kind and talented. He is a visual artist… an illustrator, and I find his art really inspiring. I have met many people who don't prioritise kindness and good behaviour, especially in our business."
