In an old video, Shweta Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan opened up about Aishwarya Rai and heaped praises on her.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the daughter-in-law of one of the most respected families in Bollywood, aka the Bachchan clan. She married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 and shifted to Bachchan's family home, Jalsa. Aishwarya and Abhishek are parents to their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. However, for some time now, rumours have been rife that the couple is facing troubles in their paradise, and Aishwarya has reportedly moved out of Jalsa.
Amid all this, we stumbled upon an old video of Jaya Bachchan and her daughter, Shweta Bachchan, from 2002. The video was from their joint appearance on the chat show, Koffee With Karan season 2, alongside Hema Malini and Esha Deol. In the video, Jaya and Shweta showcased their candid self, and the mother-daughter duo was seen talking highly about their then-bahu-to-be, Aishwarya Rai.

The video started with the host, Karan Johar, asking Jaya Bachchan, about the marriage advice that she would like to give to her son, Abhishek Bachchan, ahead of his wedding to Aishwarya Rai. Responding to it, the veteran actress gave a witty reply and said:
"That things are going to change if you tried to misbehave."
Further, Karan Johar asked Jaya if she would like to give any marriage advice to Aishwarya Rai. However, Shweta immediately interrupted and, without blinking an eye, called Aishwarya the perfect bahu for the Bachchan clan. She was heard saying:
"She is perfect. She doesn't need any advice."

However, Jaya Bachchan also shared a few words for Aishwarya and added, "She should continue to be as loving and as dignified as she is." To this, Shweta Bachchan mentioned that Aishwarya has a lot of patience, which would be good for her in the future run. She said:
"And she has immense patience which is gonna take her really far. So, she doesn't need to change anything."
