Shweta Bachchan opened up about her friends' equation with her mother, Jaya Bachchan and also revealed why they like her more.
Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, is hosting the second season of her podcast, What The Hell Navya. The podcast features the two ladies of her house, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Nanda Bachchan, where the trio often share titbits about their family. In the latest episode of the show, Shweta reveals why her friends like Jaya more than her.
In the latest episode, Shweta stated that her friends adore Jaya and love to hang out with her. When Navya interrupted and asked her mother, Shweta whether it was because Jaya is ‘Chill’, Shweta denied the same and said:
“She’s not chill from any stretch of imagination but she’s very frank and open and no filters and she really gives it off to me, which they love.”

In the same conversation, Shweta also revealed that her mom, Jaya loves hanging out with younger people. Listening to the same, Jaya agreed and revealed the reason behind the same and shared:
“It’s also me as a person but also as an actor. It’s very interesting for me to see how young people talk, their body language… On the sets, I like to be friends with the assistant directors.”
During the podcast, the three ladies of the Bachchan clan discussed the importance of friendship in a relationship. To this, Jaya added that her husband, Amitabh Bachchan is her best friend and she never hides anything from him. In her words:
“My closest friends are inside my house. It’s true, my husband is my best friend. I don’t hide anything from him.”

In another episode of Navya Nanda’s show, Jaya Bachchan recalled some difficult moments faced by Amitabh Bachchan, after he got entangled in a case of bankruptcy. The doting wifey revealed that it was at such times that she stood beside him like a pillar of strength. In her words:
“I don't know whether I did the right thing or wrong but it's also nice when a man is going through this phase, is just to be there and be quiet. Instead of weee-wee (gibberish) it is annoying. If they want your help if they need it they will."
