Shweta Singh Kirti Reacts To Rhea Chakraborty's FIR Against Sushant's Sisters, Calls It 'Fake'

Amongst the news of the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik Chakraborty along with some drug peddlers in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, a new twist has come. According to reports, Rhea claimed in her FIR that the accused prescribed drugs to Sushant without consultation. In a six-page-long complaint filed, Rhea accused Sushant's sisters, Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh, a Delhi-based doctor Tarun Kumar and others of hatching a conspiracy. She alleged that these people had obtained false prescription on the letterhead of a government hospital for banned medicines and had administered the same to Sushant without supervising doses.  As per the reports, Rhea was at the Bandra police station for almost six-and-a-half-hours on September 7, 2020, and filed the complaint. According to reports published in the Times of India, the case has been registered under sections of IPC and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Reacting to the same, Sushant's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti took to her Twitter handle and wrote, "Nothing's gonna break us, definitely not this fake FIR!" Check out her tweet below:

Talking about the arrests made in Sushant Singh Rajput's case, apart from Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda is also arrested. Samuel was Sushant Singh Rajput's manager. Last week the NCB had booked Rhea, Showik, Miranda and others under certain sections of the NDPS Act based on information received from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) during the course of the investigation. Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti had reacted on Showik's arrest also, and had written on her Twitter handle, "Thank you God Keep guiding all of us in the direction of TRUTH! #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #GreatStartNCB #Warriors4SRR #Flag4SSR." 

According to reports flashed in Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik Chakraborty had confessed before the NCB that he had procured drugs for his sister. The Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) had made an intervention in the ongoing investigation after Enforcement Directorate (ED) had found some suspicious drug-related chats. According to reports flashed in the Hindustan Times, Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda have been arrested under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Both of them are named as accused by the ED and the CBI in the FIRs registered by them in Sushant's death probe. In the further procedure, Showik and Samuel were to be produced before a local court and were to be taken under custodial interrogation to probe into more details about the procurement, transportation and usage of the narcotics.

Talking about the media harassment, Rhea Chakraborty had some days ago shared a video of her building compound wherein her father was seen surrounded by what had seemed like a swarm of camerapersons and journalists. Rhea had written a message mentioning Mumbai Police alongside the video, and had asked for security. Her message could be read as "This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit Chakraborty (retd . army officer). We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED, CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family's life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided. We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them, no help arrived. How is this family going to live? We are only asking for assistance, to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us. I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies. #safetyformyfamilyIn COVID times, these basic law and order restrictions need to be provided.
