Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister, Shweta Singh Kirti Says 'Our Sushant Our Pride' And Here's The Reason

Actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti took to her IG handle to share the news with his fans that he was the first actor to get trained by NASA. Details inside!

Actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's death had shocked the entire nation. What was more unacceptable for the entire film fraternity and to his fans was the fact that such a brilliant actor and an intelligent boy had left us at such a tender age. Besides proving his mettle in acting, the boy, who had an interest in the galaxy and the planets, and had installed a telescope at his home, had left us all teary-eyed with the news of his suicide.

On June 14, 2020, the Kai Po Che actor, Sushant Singh Rajput had left us for the heavenly abode. Since then, his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti and father, K.K. Singh have been fighting to seek justice for him as they believe that it was not a suicide. Shweta often takes to her IG handle to share some fond memories with her brother, as those are what she is left with now.

A few hours ago, Shweta Singh Kirti took to her IG handle to share the screenshot of a Tweet that read as "The only actor in the world ever who actually got trained by NASA as Astronaut n even was set to go for 2024 Moon Mission @itssr Our Sushant Our Pride." Sharing the picture, Shweta wrote, "Our Sushant Our Pride."

It was on April 18, 2019, when Sushant Singh Rajput had shared a video on his IG handle in which he had revealed the experience of his training at NASA. Sharing the same, he had written, "#Mytraining @USSRC.Nasa ! “The hatch that opens to the dreams, that which makes you week in the knees(at least 1/6 times:), and then even metaphorically, make you feel over the moon #Apollo #Lunarmodule #commandmodule #training #astronomy #passion #ancientdreams."

It was in preparation for his upcoming movie, Chanda Mama Door Ke, that Sushant Singh Rajput had visited the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). He had taken training for the role of an astronaut that he was supposed to play. Though the film was shelved later on, that did not stop him from wanting to go to NASA and get the certificate of an instructor. 

Earlier in an interview with IANS, Sushant Singh Rajput had talked about his wish to go to NASA. He had said, "I stayed there and did everything as an astronaut is supposed to do." After his death, the director of the movie, Chanda Mama Door Ke, Sanjay Puran Singh, had said that the film would be made to pay tribute to the late actor.
