When Shweta portrayed the role of a happy lover, her personal life with her ex-husband, Raja Chaudhary, was undergoing a huge turmoil. On July 13, 2013, Shweta had given her marriage another chance and tied the knot with actor, Abhinav Kohli.
Shweta Tiwari is a mother of two adorable kids, Palak Tiwari (from her first husband, Raja Chaudary) and Reyansh Kohli (from her second husband, Abhinav Kohli). She recently took to her Instagram handle and shared some adorable pictures of her kids bonding with each other. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress shared adorable pictures of her daughter, Palak and son, Reyansh with the caption, “My #nanhayatri and My Ethereal Girl #mostgorgeouskids @palaktiwarii.” While Palak looked beautiful just like her mommy in a leopard-print swimsuit, Reyansh looked like a cotton ball in a white bathrobe.
Sometime back, rumour mills were abuzz about trouble in Shweta and Abhinav’s paradise. Abhinav had refuted the rumours, Shweta had spoken about the same in an interview with AajTak and had quoted, "There is no truth to the rumours of trouble in Abhinav and my paradise. Everything is fine between us and we are happy together." She had also added that the rumours should now be shut down after this statement of hers.
Shweta and her first husband, Raja had separated on an ugly note and it was Abhinav who stood by her during her difficult phase. Talking about her divorce with Raja, Shweta had stated, "I made him two offers, either take a house, which would be co-owned by our daughter Palak, or to take the sole ownership rights of a house, and stay away from Palak; he immediately lapped up the latter one." And when again rumour mills were abuzz about something going wrong between the two, Abhinav took a stand and had stated, “All is well between Shweta and me. I have never been insecure about her success. We are both focussing on our work and are in a happy space." The gossip about trouble in their relationship started when a source close to the couple had revealed, "They are having a lot of opinion clashes about Abhinav's career and Shweta's success as an actress.”
The source had further added, “Problems in our marriage are only rumours and there is no truth in them. I hope that after this, the rumour in question is buried forever. Shweta and I have not had any differences. We are staying together very happily.”
Recently, Shweta was in the news when she had filed a complaint against her husband, Abhinav accusing him of domestic violence. As per a report by SpotboyE, Shweta and her daughter, Palak were ‘in tears’ and were screaming aloud at the police station, accompanied by the former’s mom. It was also reported that Abhinav had even raised his hand on his step-daughter, Palak, in a fit of rage!
During an interview, Raja was asked about his take on Palak's action of reporting about the physical abuse. To which, he had retorted, “I feel very proud of her. She is a very brave girl. As we all know, it takes a lot of courage to discuss something to the world.” Further, when he was asked how he will be safeguarding his daughter, he had replied, “I am always there for her. Whenever she needs me, she just needs to give me a call that 'Papa I need you' and I will be right there standing by her side supporting her for everything.” (Also Read: Karwa Chauth Plans Of 7 TV Couples, Sharad Malhotra-Ripci Malhotra To Prince Narula-Yuvika Chaudhary)
