Shweta and Chaitanya’s pre-wedding functions have already begun, and we can see them having a gala time with their family and friends. Shweta recently had her bachelorette which was gate-crashed by her fiancé. Well, the actress had an intimate mehendi ceremony yesterday, on June 26, 2018, at her to-be-hubby’s home. She was looking like sunshine in her yellow dress.
Shweta kept her mehendi look very simple and classy. She wore a plain ankle-length dress in the shade of bright yellow and wore no jewellery. Her bridal mehendi design is something that we have never seen before. It is quirky, unique and stunning, all at the same time. The actress got her to-be-hubby’s name written in Hindi on her palm, alongside a ‘dulhan’ motif. The design has elements from Shweta-Chaitanya’s love story. Next, there is a plane on her hand, describing their flight journey, where their love story took off. It also has a placard which has their wedding date ’29-06-2018’ written on it. There are also two masks made on Shweta’s right wrist, depicting the place where they first met, a theatre, to do a play together. Also, the couple shares a common love for theatre and acting. Apart from all these elements, her mehendi has a lot of traditional floral motifs and birdcages, making it look all the more beautiful. The mehendi on her feet was minimal, with lotus and big leaves design. Her bridal mehendi was done by a famous celebrity mehendi artist, Jyoti Chheda. Talking about her experience of applying mehendi on Shweta’s hands and feet, Jyoti, in her Instagram post said, “It was fun to apply her bridal mehendi which was unique and very different, just like her. Her bridal mehendi was all about moments, events and elements she had cherished with her rapper boyfriend Chaitanya Sharma.” (Check Out: Dear Bride-To-Be, Here Are 7 Creative Ways To Personalise Your Bridal Mehendi)
