Siddhant Chaturvedi talks about not having any friends from the industry, despite having worked with some of the most popular actors of lately.
Siddhant Chaturvedi can be safely hailed as the man of the hour, as he has been winning a lot of appreciation and love for his terrific performance in the latest film, Kho Gaye Hum Kaha, starring Ananya Panday and Adarsh Gourav among others. Prior to this, Siddhant rose to fame with his prolific mettle in films like Gully Boy, Gehraiyaan among others, which has already established him as a leagues-apart actor. And now, the actor reveals why he hasn’t been able to make any friends from the film industry.
In an interaction with India Today, Siddhant divulged the reason behind not having any friends from the industry, despite having worked previously with some of the greatest stars from the fraternity. He remarked how he found it very challenging to strike a friendly chord with anyone at all in the industry, and added that he has yet to achieve anything substantial in Bollywood, so as to make friends professionally. Elaborating more, he said:
“I work with big stars. They also don't have time. They must be so busy. I feel like, ‘I have to do this.’ I haven't reached a single drop of where they are. They are trying to balance their lives. They have so many eyes on them, and so many duties to perform. They don't have the time to entertain you. We meet at events; we hug and ask, ‘How are you’! They are good actors, all of them. They get into the process where they shut off from the world. Even I have the same process. So, I don't complain."

“It's not about fitting in. I came here from outside and everybody has been so receptive to me. I worked with the biggest people. They have been very nice to me. I continue to work with the best. Expecting more out of that is my stupidity. I also understand that it is difficult to balance everything out.”
