Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s journey had started in September 2019 and ended in September 2021. However, these two years of togetherness has given memories of a lifetime to Shehnaaz and ‘Sidnaaz’ fans (as fondly called by their fans). They had met inside the Bigg Boss 13 house, and Shehnaaz had fallen in love with the 'angry young man' of the television industry. The bubbly actress had never shied away from expressing her love for Sidharth in public, while he had always maintained the ‘good friends’ stance.
Sidharth Shukla’s death on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40, left people teary-eyed. However, for Shehnaaz Gill his demise took away everything from her. From Sidharth breathing his last in Shehnaaz’s lap to her being pale and in a state of utter shock, narrated the story of their love. It was not just the death of Sidharth, but also the sudden death of Shehnaaz’s dreams that she had seen with Sidharth. Shehnaaz Gill had always dreamt of marrying Sidharth Shukla, and now, if the reports are to be believed, they were all set to tie the knot next year, in 2022. A fan page of ‘Sidnaaz’ shared that a close friend of Shehnaaz revealed that the alleged couple was supposed to tie the knot next year. In another report, it is mentioned that Sidharth and Shehnaaz were engaged and were going to shift to their new house with his mother. They had plans to get married in December 2021 and had even booked JW Marriot for the wedding. Well, if this is true, it is heartbreaking!
In an interview with ETimes, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant, Abu Malik, had opened up on their equation. Abu Malik had revealed that Sidharth used to love Shehnaaz a lot. He had said, "Sidharth used to love her a lot. He would say that agar ek din woh naaraz ho jaati thi, toh uska din khaarab ho jaata tha."

Abu had also mentioned that Shehnaaz wanted him to ask Sidharth to marry her and play the Cupid between the two. Remembering the exact date, Abu Malik had told the portal, "Shehnaaz told me this on March 22, 2020- I think that this was just a day before the first lockdown."
Earlier there were reports about Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill’s wedding. According to Filmibeat, Sidharth and Shehnaaz had become each other's forever after having a court marriage in December 2020. The publication's reliable source had further claimed that the couple is going to have a traditional wedding soon to inform their fans, friends, and the public about their eternal bond. The source had also stated that the couple had decided to not open about their dating, relationship, and now court marriage, fearing its impact on their respective careers.
Later, Sidharth had reacted to the wedding reports in a Twitter interaction. When a fan had asked Sidharth to reply to him as his girlfriend will only marry him when the actor replies to her and he doesn’t want to stay kunwara, the actor had replied that kunwara tag is better. He had tweeted, “Bhai Kunwara tag acha hai ... main tho kunwara hoon fir bhi kuch media walo ne shadi shuda karar kar diya hai ... maybe they know more than I do about me.”
