Television actor, Sidharth Shukla was no ordinary actor. He was a charmer, and no one can forget the charm his eyes had exuded. Apart from being a man with an amazing personality, he had a heart of gold. In our series of 'Remembering Sidharth Shukla', let us inform you that the actor had forcibly sent money to the late Pratyusha Banerjee's (his Balika Vadhu co-star) father.
On the morning of September 2, 2021, Sidharth had left his family, friends and fans heartbroken with his sudden demise. The 40-year-old had breathed his last after suffering a massive heartache. He was declared dead at the Copper Hospital.
Sidharth, who rose to fame with his acting stint as 'Shivraj Shekhar' in Balika Vadhu. He was paired opposite the late actress, Pratyusha Banerjee. Within no time, the co-stars had developed a beautiful bond. After Sidharth's death, Pratyusha's father had revealed that the actor had forcibly sent Rs. 20,000 to him during the lockdown. In fact, Pratyusha's father also revealed that the actor always asked him on WhatsApp if he needed any help.
In an interview with AajTak, Pratyusha's father said, "I can't understand how this happened. I considered him to be my son. During Balika Vadhu, Sidharth and Pratyusha had become close friends. He used to come home as well. After Pratyusha's death, many people talked about the relationship between Sidharth and my daughter, because of which Sidharth had stopped coming home. He often asked me in messages on WhatsApp."
On September 3, 2021, Sidharth Shukla's last rites were performed by his family at the Oshiwara crematorium. Soon, social media was flooded with heartbreaking visuals of Shehnaaz Gill (who shared a special bond with him) from inside the crematorium. Shehnaaz had arrived at the crematorium with her brother, Shehbaz Badesha. Post the cremation, Shehnaaz was seen lying on the ground in a devasted state.
Rahul Mahajan, who had paid a visit to his family, had talked about Shehnaaz's condition. He had said, "She (Shehnaaz) had gone completely pale as if a storm had just passed by and washed away everything." Earlier, Aly Goni had revealed that Shehnaaz was in complete distress.
Sidharth was a man with a golden heart, and his inspiring stories will always be etched in the hearts of his millions of fans!
