As Sidharth Shukla is in Bigg Boss 14 as a 'toofani senior', all the 'Sidnaaz' fans are sorely missing Shehnaaz Gill beside him. Whenever Shehnaaz's name comes up in conversations between the housemates, it becomes a trend on social media. Something like this has happened again, and 'Sidnaaz' fans are elated beyond measure!
In a recent episode, during a task, Gauahar Khan was trying to get close to Sidharth Shukla who got a little defensive and said, "you can't be touching me, I have a girlfriend at home" as a joke. To which, Gauahar replied, "Good for you. I am happy for you." This was enough to get all the 'Sidnaaz' fans active and flog the micro-blogging site, Twitter with their reaction. In another old episode, we had seen Gauahar Khan preparing tea for herself and Sidharth Shukla. When she had handed over the cup of tea to Sidharth, he had flirted a little with her and had said, "Gauahar aap ese haath mein laakar chai dengi, khana dengi laake, mujhe pyar ho jayega." Going further, Sidharth had also teased her with her alleged boyfriend, Zaid Darbar and had continued, "Zabardasti hamain apne dil per qabu rakhna padega. In an interview with The Times Of India, Shehnaaz Gill had addressed the hype about Sidharth Shukla's flirting with actress, Gauahar Khan and other female contestants on the show, Bigg Boss 14. She had said, "He is playing really well. Achha lag Raha hai aur uski comedy achhi lag Rahi hai. He is flirting with girls, but in a healthy way. A lot of people are judging his conduct outside the house, but I know him well and can vouch that his intention is pure." Shehnaaz had also added that it's not Sid's fault if the girls are showing affection for him. She had added, "He can't help it if the girls are fawning over him (smiles). At the end of the day, he has to talk to someone inside the house."
Going further in her interview, Shehnaaz had praised Sidharth for being the focal point of the whole show. However, she had also expressed that this season's contestants don't have any drive in them. Shehnaaz was quoted as saying, "Bigg Boss must have got these seniors for a reason. Sidharth Shukla is the TRP king. Show thoda chal Raha hai usko daalne se. I am certain that a lot of people watch it because of him. Having said that, it's a double-edged sword. The freshers have not been able to make a place for themselves. They are saying, 'Seniors jab jaayenge tab hi challenge'. I don't see that drive in any of the current contestants. Kuchh Karna hi nahi chahte just because of seniors hain."
