Sidharth Shukla's Prayer Meet: Brahma Kumari Shivani Shared How His Mother Dealt With His Death

Sidharth Shukla's family held a prayer meet on September 6, 2021. Brahma Kumari Shivani revealed how his mother, Rita Shukla was able to find the strength to deal with his death.

Television and Bollywood actor, Sidharth Shukla was no ordinary actor. He had become a household name by playing the role of 'Shiv' in the popular daily soap, Balika Vadhu. Despite being at the peak of success in his career, the actor's destiny had something else in store for him.

Saddening all of us, the talented actor, Sidharth Shukla had breathed his last on September 2, 2021. On being taken to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, Sidharth was declared brought dead by the hospital staff. Since his death, his fans and the entire industry is in mourning but it is his mother, Rita Shukla, who is going through one of the most difficult times as she had lost her son just at 40.

On September 6, 2021, Sidharth Shukla's family organised a prayer meet for the late actor so that his soul can attain peace on the other side of the world. In the prayer meeting, Brahma Kumari Shivani revealed a conversation she had with Sidharth's mother, Rita Shukla. Sharing how her mother gathered the courage to face the truth of her son's death, BK Shivani said that when she asked Rita if she was doing okay, her reply was, “Mere paas parmatma ki shakti hai."

Rita Shukla also told Brahma Kumari Shivani that the only thing that she wants now is his happiness. She told her, “Mujhe sirf ek hi sankalp hai, woh khush rahega jahaan jayega.” The video was shared by Sidharth's Bigg Boss 13, co-contestant, Paras Chhabra, and in the video we can witness BK Shivani praising Sidharth's mother for her sthirta and shakti

Earlier on September 6, 2021, Sidharth Shukla's family had issued a statement for the first time after his death and asked the media and his fans to respect their privacy. The statement could be read as "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever!"

Sidharth's family had further thanked the Mumbai Police in the statement for their support. They had added, "Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve. A special Thank You to the Mumbai Police force for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti -The Shukla Family."
