Days after his birth, Sidhu Moosewala's newborn brother was featured on the Times Square billboard. A video of the same has been doing rounds on social media.
It is a joyful moment for late Punjabi rapper and Congress leader, Sidhu Moosewala’s family as his parents, Balkaur Singh and his wife, Charan Kaur, recently welcomed their second child in March 2024. It was on May 29, 2022, when the late singer passed away after he was shot in Mansa district. Since then, his fans have been left heartbroken.
Sidhu’s parents named their newborn, Shubhdeep after his late brother, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala. And now, Sidhu’s father and his baby brother are featured on the iconic Times Square billboard. A fan of the late singer shared a video featuring glimpses of Sidhu, his father and his newborn brother at Times Square.

As soon as the video was shared on social media, fans started commenting on it and poured in their wishes and happiness over the same. One of the users wrote, “Born star…Pride of Punjab.” Another commented, “Big moment for times square.”
For the past few months, there have been many speculations about Sidhu Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur's pregnancy. On March 17, 2024, Sidhu Moosewala's father, Balkaur Singh, took to his Instagram handle and posted the first picture of his newborn son. In the photo, Balkaur Singh held a baby in his arms, who was sleeping peacefully. For the unversed, earlier, Sidhu's father, Balkaur Singh, revealed that his wife, Charan's second pregnancy was via IVF.

On March 19, 2024, Sidhu's father took to his Instagram handle and shared a video expressing his concern about the government and how they have been harassing him. He revealed that the government has been questioning the family over the 'legality' of the child. In a video message, Balkaur Singh expressed his gratitude to God and revealed that they got their Shubhdeep back. However, the government has been harassing him since morning to furnish documents of the baby. He was quoted as saying:
"Due to the blessings of Waheguru, we got our Shubhdeep (Sidhu Moosewala) back. However, the government has been harassing me since morning, asking me to furnish documents of the baby. They are questioning me to prove that this child is legal."

For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala had left for the heavenly abode after he was shot in Mansa district on May 29, 2022. It is reported that 30 rounds of fire were shot at him, and the killing had taken place a day after his security was taken down by the state government. After Sidhu's murder, within a few hours, Canada-based gangster, Goldy Brar confirmed that he was the one behind it. He had taken to his Facebook account and had penned a long note. He had also mentioned that his close associates, Lawrence Bishnoi and Sachin Bishnoi Dhattaranwali were also involved in it.
