Simran Singh, who was popularly known as RJ Simran, rose to fame with her stint a RJ from Jammu and Kashmir. She had almost 7L followers on her Instagram, but in a shocking turn of events, she was found dead by suicide in Gurugram. She was just 25 years old when she passed away, and police have been calling it a suicide incident. Read on to know more about her!
RJ Simran, who loved calling herself as 'Jammu Ki Dhadkan', lived in Jammu. The 25-year-old was working with a famous radio station. After which, she left her job and started working as a freelance radio jockey. Simran was even famous on social media, her funny reels would go viral on Instagram in nano-seconds.
The news came as a shock as RJ Simran's body was discovered in her rented apartment in Gurugram. She was staying with a friend, who called the police and informed them. Simran was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors announced she was brought dead.
However, the police did not find any suicide note, and her family had not filed any complaint on the matter. The family stated that the 25-year-old RJ was upset for some time, and it might be the reason why she had decided to end her life. The family even added that they do not hold anyone responsible.
Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, also expressed grief over losing a gem of a person. The tragic passing of the popular radio jockey has shocked the entire nation. The post on X could be read as:
