Bollywood singer, Armaan Malik issued a statement after people started confusing him with YouTuber, Armaan Malik, whose real name is Sandeep Singh.
YouTuber, Armaan Malik has been dominating the headlines, but for all the negative reasons. First, his polygamous marriage has been a topic of discussion. Later, he slapped his fellow contestant, Vishal Pandey for making complimentary remarks about his second wife, Kritika. Amid this going on, famous singer, Armaan Malik issued a statement as people have been confusing him with the YouTuber for having the same name.
For those who don't know, YouTuber, Armaan Malik's real name is Sandeep Singh, who later changed it to Armaan. This confused people, as there is already a famous singer with the same name. Now, the singer has reacted to the same as the YouTuber has been grabbing the limelight for negative reasons after joining Bigg Boss OTT 3.

Taking to his IG handle, the singer dropped a picture note and stated that he has zero connection with the YouTuber, and he cannot control someone changing their name, but it is causing a lot of issues. Singer, Armaan stated that people are assuming the YouTuber to be him and tagging him as well mistakenly, which is hampering his reputation.
YouTuber, Armaan Malik began to dominate the headlines when he was selected as a participant on Bigg Boss OTT 3 with his two wives, Payal and Kritika. Internet users and even several celebrities slammed the trio for promoting polygamous marriage on a platform that is accessible to the kids as well. Among others, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was the first actress to talk about this issue. She slammed the YouTuber along with BB OTT 3 makers.
Amid this going on, another ray of controversy began as Armaan Malik slapped his co-contestant, Vishal Pandey. Such an incident left everyone, including several celebrities, in shock about how the YouTuber could violate the rules while being in the Bigg Boss house and physically hurt someone.
For the unversed, Vishal Pandey commented on Armaan's wife, Kritka and mentioned that he's guilty of finding her beautiful. Later, when Kritika was busy working out, Vishal again passed a comment on Kritika and called Armaan a lucky man. Payal, who was evicted from the show, arrived there as a guest during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode and slammed Vishal and accused him of having ill intentions for her sautan. Later, Armaan couldn't take the same and slapped Vishal.

Armaan Malik is one of the wealthiest YouTubers in India, whose net worth runs between Rs. 100-200 crore. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Armaan once said that he once ran away from his home as he was not qualified for class nine even after two attempts and later came back home and was beaten by his father. Armaan also added that he worked as a mechanic but now that his YouTube journey has made him who he is today.
