Smriti Irani dropped a mesmerising picture of herself, as she performed 'Griha Pravesh' at her new home in Amethi.
Smriti Irani is one of the most powerful women in our country at the moment. The actress-turned-politician inspired everyone with her prolific career graph and sheer dedication towards the work she has done thus far. Apart from her stint as a successful actress and parliamentarian, Smriti continues to engage with her fans through her active social media presence, wherein she often drops unseen snippets from her life. And something similar happened yet again.
Taking to her social media handle on X (formerly Twitter), Smriti Irani dropped a special snapshot of herself along with her husband, Zubin Irani. The couple could be seen performing a havan, in the presence of their priest. While Smriti decked up in a maroon and yellow-toned saree draped traditionally, Zubin wore a cream-hued kurta teamed with plain white pyjama. Along with the picture, Smriti penned a caption, where she expressed gratitude of performing Griha Pravesh at her new home in Amethi. She wrote:
“Bhavani ki kripa, Mahadev ka aashirvaad. Bado ke sanidhya mein, choto ke sneh ke saath, Amethi mein nirmit apne naye ghar mein pravesh.”

Back on December 7, 2023, Smriti Irani dropped a special picture on her social media handle, that featured her father interacting with the honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. While Smriti draped a maroon-hued bandhani saree paired with a shawl, her father looked sober in a white kurta. Along with the picture, the former actress penned a witty yet hilarious caption, that can be read as:
“When THE BOSS meets THE FATHER …. and you pray they don’t exchange complaints about you."
Previously, in an interaction with Ranveer Allahabadia on his podcast, Smriti Irani retrospected about her emotions as a mother. The parliamentarian remarked that since she herself belonged from a broken family, she feels her greatest learning is to be able to go to any extreme in order to protect her children from any harm or evil. In her words:
“I am a kid from a broken home. My greatest learning or take away from that was, I want my kids to know that I will fight death to protect them. I think that’s the best feeling a kid can have, that you have a parent who will watch out, fight the world. As a mother, the one blessing God has given me that if my kids walk away from me, it’s fine because they must have been through too much for me to ask them. I can fight for them and I can let them go...I can love my kids to death and not sit on their heads 24*7. Give them that space and give myself that space.”
