Smriti Irani is a mother of two adorable kids, Zohr Irani and Zoish Irani. Smriti is also a stepmother of Shanelle, her husband, Zubin’s daughter from his previous marriage. Smriti, who is known as one of the coolest ministers, is also one of the most proactive mothers, who has aced the relationship of a mother with her children. On October 24, 2019, Smriti’s son Zohr Irani turned 18 years old and the BJP leader took to her Instagram handle and posted an adorable picture of her son where he was seen cuddling his mother, Smriti. With the picture, Smriti also added a heart-melting caption which could be read as “My firstborn @zohrirani_24. 18 today ...18 years of joy & adventure. We climbed mountains together, we danced to the music of life .. may god bless you with all the happiness in the world.” The Union minister is quite a pro with social media. Smriti is a very straightforward person and makes sure to voice her opinions on matters of national interests but her fun side is often reflected in her posts. On March 2, 2019, Smriti had taken to Instagram handle and had shared a heartfelt wish for her son, Zohr Irani, who was appearing for his 12th class board examinations. The minister had posted a throwback picture of Zohr, and had written, “This first born of mine has grown up to be a loving & responsible young man. Wrote his first 12th board exam today, will leave home soon in pursuit of his dreams. Keeps telling me Ma ab aap height mein chote ho gaye mujhse’. Does not know har Ma ki dua hai ki uska bachcha sirf height mein nahi, balki Jeevan mein usse aage badhe. In January 2019, Smriti had posted a throwback picture of her daughter, Zoish Irani, who she lovingly addresses as Zoe on turning 15. You are your own person now & soon will leave to build a life for yourself. Smriti Irani married her friend Mona Irani’s ex-husband, Zubin Irani in 2001. In an interview with a leading publication, Smriti had shared, “I married Zubin because I needed him. I was consulting him, talking to him and meeting him every day. So we said why not marry and be best friends as well as a married couple. Both my parents and his agreed to our marriage and blessed us.
