It was on November 23, 2017, when Smriti Khanna had gotten married to her Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi co-star, Gautam Gupta and had become an inspiration for every bride-to-be with her trendsetting bridal trousseau. Smriti had ditched the traditional red lehenga and heavy makeup for her wedding day and instead had opted for a pink outfit and minimal makeup. Her dulhe raja, Gautam Gupta had opted for pastel-coloured sherwani, which he had paired with dhoti pants and a safa. Smriti and Gautam had looked like a match made in heaven and in the month of April 2020, the couple had welcomed their little girl, named Anayka, which means powerful. It’s been three years to one of the most memorable days of Smriti and Gautam’s life and the actress has now cherished it with a beautiful video.
Taking to her IG handle, Smriti Khanna shared a video with her hubby, Gautam Gupta cherishing 3 years of their married life. Sharing a reel on her IG handle, Smriti wrote, “Happy Anniversary dearest Husband @mistergautam. Smriti and Gautam never skip a chance to make one another’s special days a lot more memorable. It was Smriti’s first birthday post delivering her baby girl, Anayka on July 6, 2020, and Gautam had pampered her in every manner. As Smriti had turned 30, she had ringed in her birthday with Gautam and her family by her side at their home. She had begun the countdown for her birthday a day before when her hubby had pampered her with morning breakfast and had a fun-filled lockdown birthday. On April 13, 2020, Gautam had turned 32 and his darling wife, Smriti had apologised to him for a delayed birthday gift. As Smriti and Gautam were expecting their first child at that moment, and their baby girl hadn’t still made it to the world, Smriti had apologised for the delayed gift. Instead, she had penned down a heartfelt note for her husband. Sharing a video, comprising of some cherishable moments with Gautam, Smriti had written, “Happy birthday to my most precious gem, the light of my world and my forever love. If I did anything right in my life it was when I gave my heart to you. Of all years this is the one we should celebrate the most. Sure it might not be the kind of birthday you would have wished for, spending it in quarantine, but it is one we will remember. One that we will not take for granted. I’m so grateful that your love is mine and our lives are woven together and I feel incredibly blessed to be your wife. I love doing life with you and can’t wait to share parenthood with you now.
