Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza had tied the knot for the second time with a Mumbai-based businessman, Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021. Dia and Vaibhav's wedding was a low-key affair and had taken place in Dia's Bandra residence's garden area. The ceremony had families and a few close people in attendance, including actors, Jackky Bhagnani, Aditi Rao Hydari, Smriti Khanna and her husband, Gautam Gupta. Smriti posted pictures posing with the newly-wedded couple, Dia and Vaibhav and congratulated them on their marriage. Along with the picture, she wrote, "Congratulations Dia and Vaibhav! Wishing you both a wonderful journey ahead."
On the beautiful picture, a troll tried to make fun of Gautam Gupta's look and commented, "Yar smiti banda husbnd ki dressing b emprove kr leta hai mujhy to her dafa aise lagta hai k yeh apka working boy hain sath...yar emprove it." The doting wifey, Smriti gave a befitting reply to the troll and wrote, "@zojasaleem why don’t you work on your English instead or being so bothered about my husband’s dressing? Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi had embarked on the journey of ‘happily ever after’ on February 15, 2021. Dia had looked graceful for the wedding in a red Banarasi saree by Raw Mango with choker set, jhumki, maang teeka, green Maharashtrian bangles and gajra accentuating her look. Vaibhav had complemented her well in a white kurta-pyjama with a matching Nehru jacket. Sharing the breathtakingly beautiful pictures from her wedding, Dia had written, “Love is a full-circle that we call home. And what a miracle it is to hear its knock, open the door and be found by it. Sharing this moment of completion and joy with you..my extended family. For Dia Mirza-Vaibhav Rekhi wedding, Smriti Khanna opted for a red lehenga skirt, embroidered with intricate detailing, and paired with a chic red and golden choli. Her sheer dupatta accentuated her look. On the other hand, her husband, Gautam Gupta kept his look simple in a light pink coloured kurta and white pyjama.
