According to a report, Airbnb listed Sridevi's first-purchased mansion among its icons, and it will also offer candid conversations with Jahnvi Kapoor during the one-night stay.
Sridevi was one of the legendary actresses of her time. She has worked not only in a multiple number of films but also drooled many with her enchanting beauty over the years. However, her untimely demise in Dubai left a huge void in the lives of family, friends and fans. Talking about the legacy she left behind after her untimely demise is intactly preserved by her husband, Boney Kapoor and daughters, Jahnvi and Khushi.
Among them, one was Sridevi's first home in Chennai, where she and Boney Kapoor's daughters, Janhvi and Khushi, had spent their childhood. Undoubtedly, we can imagine how beautifully Sridevi decorated the house for her family and how her fans were always curious to get a sneak peek from inside. Now, we have learnt about a stunning piece of news, one of the hugely popular rental and accommodation apps, Airbnb, has listed Sridevi's Chennai home on its new ‘Icons’ list. By this, it means that anyone can now live in the well-decorated mansion, as per a report by People. Airbnb CEO and co-founder, Brian Chesky, at the launch of ‘Icons’ said:
"This is the most intimate access to the most famous family in Bollywood."

The same report stated that a one-night stay at Sridevi's home will also offer conversations with Janhvi based on her favourite beauty hacks and tasting fresh, authentic South Indian food. Apart from the only Indian property to be rented by Airbnb, other pop culture spots that are also on the 11 Icons properties list, are the X-Men mansion in New York's Westchester County, Disney-Pixar's Up (2009) in Abiquiu, New Mexico, Kevin Hart's members-only Coramino Live Lounge, a personal Doja Cat concert, Prince's iconic Purple Rain house in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Inside Out headquarters.
In 2022, Janhvi Kapoor gave a virtual tour of Sridevi's Chennai mansion in a conversation with Vogue India. In the virtual tour, we got a glimpse of the huge gate, which opens to a lush green veranda. Following this, during the conversation with Vogue, Janhvi mentioned that the main entrance to their Chennai house is somewhere else, as Sridevi believed in 'Vastu'. Then, she took us inside through a glass door into a corridor featuring a huge number of art pieces. The home also has some astonishing European chandeliers.

The mansion, with its old-world charm, then featured Boney Kapoor's little office. Then came the living room, which had a beautiful L-shaped sofa, a huge Buddha artefact, huge ceramic vases, and much more. Another room features a huge beige couch, which is also Janhvi's favourite spot. It hosts statement candlelight holders on Chester drawers. Then, we spotted a huge eight-seater dining table with beautiful crockery and a huge staircase with a memorabilia wall.
