Sobhita Dhulipala recently talked about her simple yet perfect engagement with Naga Chaitanya. She also expressed her fascination about embracing motherhood.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala exchanged rings back on August 8, 2024. The couple has been speculated to be dating each other for a long time, but they never paid any attention to the same, until they announced their engagement. Sobhita and Chaitanya's engagement was low-key, and the photos screamed pure love. Recently, the actress talked about her simple engagement ceremony.
In an interview with Galatta, Sobhita Dhulipala talked about her ring exchange ceremony with Naga Chaitanya. The actress mentioned that she didn't jump into the moment with a whole lot of expectations, dreams, or plans. Sobhita added that she was there being relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate, and warm. The actress added that her engagement was exactly what she wanted it to be like, and it didn't need any embellishments, as it was all beautiful all by itself. Sobhita shared that it was not simple, but it was perfect for her. In Sobhita's words:
"I don't think I went into the moment with a lot of expectations or dreams, planning...no. I think I was there. It was quite relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate and warm. It was everything I thought it would be. When beautiful things happen, I don't feel the need for embellishments. That moment itself fills me. So I didn't feel like it was simple or it was not; it was what it was meant to be, and it was perfect.”
In the same interview, Sobhita Dhulipala was asked about embracing motherhood. The actress said that she always wanted to experience motherhood. She added that she has always wanted to get married and experience motherhood while paying respect to her Telugu roots. Sobhita added that she's very attached to her Telugu roots and always fantasised about experiencing the big moments of life to be linked with the same. Sobhita can be quoted as saying:
"I did always think that I always wanted the whole motherhood experience. I was very clear about it, and getting married. I always saw myself in that setting. I always wanted Telugu-ness to be a part of moments like this. I am very attached to my roots, to tradition and my parents. That's something I fantasised about.”
Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got engaged on an auspicious day on August 8, 2024, which has a connection to Infinite. The couple exchanged rings in the actor's Hyderabad residence, and both of their family members graced the traditional ceremony. As per a report is to be followed, the ceremony began with a pooja, and followed by a lavish vegetarian lunch from Andhra cuisine. Later, Naga Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, reportedly hosted a lavish dinner.
For their engagement, Sobhita Dhulipala was dolled up in a blush-pink-toned saree from Manish Malhotra. The saree's colours were infused with the hues of the flowers like Kanakaambaram and lotus, while its design was inspired by the paintings of the iconic Telugu artist, Bapu. Sobhita finalised her look with kundan jewels. A soft touch of makeup and braided hairstyle added an oomph factor to her look. On the other hand, Chaitanya wore a traditional menswear.
As per several reports, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya will get married in 2025, at a destination wedding ceremony. As per the buzz, the couple might get married in a one-week-long destination wedding in Paris, followed by a reception party in Hyderabad.
