While Soha's first Bengali films received a lot of love, her Hindi debut film, Dil Maange More, failed to impress the fans. In an interview with the Quorum YouTube channel, Soha recalled how a bad review that she got for her Hindi debut film, left her father more offended than her. She revealed that the reviewer had written that 'Soha looks like her mother but acts like her father.'
Soha shared that her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was super angry. However, Soha didn't care much. She was quoted as saying:
"The Bengali film was good; the first Hindi film, not so good. I remember the first review that came out in one of the papers was that ‘she looks like her mother, but acts like her father’. My father was the one who was the most offended by it, because he was like, ‘What does this mean?'"
