Somy Ali, who was once madly in love with Salman Khan, opened up about his relationship pattern, that you should know about.
Somy Ali and Salman Khan reportedly dated back in the 1990s. The former actress, who is now a social worker, dated the actor for 8 years before parting ways in 1999. However, she feels cursed to be known as his, ex-girlfriend despite doing great work in America and achieving a lot in life. However, Somy recently revealed Bhaijaan's relationship pattern and how he has always been insecure, telling people not to talk to Somy.
Somy Ali, in an interview with IANS, said that the actor has had a peculiar pattern which she terms as the seven-year-itch. All the women stay with him for seven years before they discover his real personality. Somi said:
"Interestingly, he never ends relationships; the girl always walks away. It takes her seven years to figure out what he truly is."
Somi, in the same interview, had alleged that in the 1990s, the actor had eight one-night stands. When a user on Reddit asked her about quitting Bollywood, Somy said that she was exhausted from, Salman having one-night stands eight times. She left when her ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan got another new girl called Ash. However, Somi's relationship with Salman greatly impacted her career. She had revealed that she had received a lot of offers from Bollywood, but reportedly, the Dabangg actor did not allow her to take up the same. Some claimed that Salman had blocked her from projects as he feared his true nature would be revealed. She also claimed that she had only entered Bollywood as she had a crush on Salman. In her words:
“Well, I didn't go there to act. I went because of a stupid teenage crush, which is why they say you should meet your idols in real life. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I think Ted Bundy had better manners than Salman."
When asked if she was in touch with the actor, Somy revealed that she had not spoken to him for many years. Somy feels that this is the best way to deal with things. She also said that she had once met Salman's mom, Salma, in Miami and mentioned that she is one of the dearest people in the whole world. Somy also revealed that she had learned a lot from Khan's parents.
Somy Ali entered the Hindi film industry in 1999 and reportedly did nine movies. She used to keep a picture of the actor in her wallet and had a crush on him since she was 16. Somy had done a movie with Salman; however, it was shelved. The duo fell in love, when Somy had turned 17 and she had even professed her love when they were heading to Nepal. During a previous interview with Free Press Journal, Somy had said:
"We were heading to Nepal. I was sitting next to him. I just removed his photo showing it to him. I told him, 'I have come all the way to marry you!' He said, 'I have a girlfriend.' I said that doesn't matter. Our relationship started after a year when I turned 17. He told me first, 'I love you.' It didn't take a lot of convincing."
