On June 9, 2022, Sonakshi Sinha took to her IG handle and shared a series of pictures with her friends to celebrate National Best Friend Day. Her pictures included goofy selfies with her best friends, moments from their party nights and many more such cutesy moments. The first slide of her post included a cutesy selfie of Sonakshi along with her friend from B-town, Huma Qureshi. Following this, in the third slide, we can also see her posing with her boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal. The much-in-love duo were seen twinning in black T-shirts paired with denim pants. Along with the pictures, the gorgeous diva wrote in the caption, "Its #NationalBestFriendDay! Lol cant believe these clowns have a day dedicated to them… Here they are (not in order of preference… they are all equally exotic and add lots of happiness to my life)." Soon her boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal took to the comment section and asked about her actual 'order of preference' amongst her friends. To which, the actress hilariously replied, and while friend zoning him, she said:

It was on June 6, 2022, when Zaheer Iqbal had confirmed all the speculations and rumours about his relationship with Sonakshi Sinha, after dropping a lovely post on his Instagram handle. The actor had shared a belated birthday post for his ladylove and had penned a cutesy note for her confessing his love for her publicly. In his adorable post, we could see Sonakshi hogging a burger with a bright smile on her face. Along with the video, Zaheer wrote, "Happy Birthday Sonzzz. Thank You for not killing me. I Love You. Here's to a lot more food, flights, love and laughter. P.s - This video sums up the entire time we've known each other." Soon, the doting girlfriend had dropped a mushy comment on her beau's post, confirming that both are madly in love with each other, which could be read as:
"Thank you.. Love you.. Now I'm coming to kill you."
Well, on the work front, Sonakshi and Zaheer will be seen together in their upcoming film, Double XL, which also stars Huma Qureshi.
