The two tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony at home amongst family and friends, and since then, they’ve regularly been setting couple goals for us all. Now, a recent post by Sonakshi has even sparked pregnancy rumours among netizens.
With Diwali just around the corner, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal stepped out to attend a star-studded party. The couple, who never fail to set outfit goals whenever out together, had a little photoshoot yesterday, too. While both Sonakshi and Zaheer looked stunning, netizens couldn’t help but wonder if the actress was carrying a little baby. Let us inform that it was Sonakshi's caption that made people wonder if she was pregnant.
Sonakshi had added two images to the post in question. In both, she had a puppy in her hands, who seemed to be the newest addition to their little family. The first picture shows the couple looking lovely at the adorable little pup, and in the second, their happiness is reflected through big smiles on their faces. Sonakshi’s captioned the same:
“Guess the pookie.”
Sonakshi’s comment section was filled with fans complimenting the couple and their festive looks. However, some netizens started congratulating her or asking questions about her pregnancy status. One user wrote, “Congratss for having lil one soon”, while another commenter asked, “Pregnant hai kya?”. Yet another comment could be read as “Sona looks pregnant.”
For the unversed, this isn’t the first time Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have sparked pregnancy rumours. A few months back, the couple was spotted visiting a hospital, and the rumour mill began wondering whether they were expecting.
Well, Sonakshi didn’t waste a moment in shutting down the rumors. In an interview with Times Now, the actress was asked about the pregnancy rumours, and in response to the same, she quipped:
“The only change is ab hum hospital nahi ja sakte kyunki jaise hi aap niklo logon ko lagta hai aap pregnant ho. That’s the only difference.”
Well, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are certainly used to keeping secrets. After all, the couple kept their relationship hidden from the public for seven long years until they tied the knot. Despite being spotted together at multiple events, Sonakshi and Zaheer never officially confirmed whether they were dating.
When asked why the couple had been so secretive, Sonakshi candidly spoke about her strong belief in nazar or evil eye. She told CNN-News 18 in an interview:
“I feel it’s always better to keep private things private. You’re already so much in the limelight; everybody knows everything about you. Something that is so dear to you should be kept for yourself.”
