The Dabangg actress expressed her desire to be a simple bride that would allow her to enjoy her wedding and help her balance any possible work commitments. She was quoted as saying:
"I just want to be comfortable. I believe, I think I will be a very simple bride because for my work, I end up doing this so often that on my wedding day, I want to be the simplest bride ever."

Despite Sonakshi and Zaheer's audio wedding invite going viral, everyone has been tight-lipped about the event. But veteran actress, Poonam Dhillon has confirmed receiving an invitation for the big day. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Poonam extended her best wishes to Sonakshi. She said:
"I wish Sonakshi all the very best. She has sent a lovely invitation. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey. I pray to God she stays happy. She is a lovely, warm , very loving girl. So I wish her all the joy and happiness."
Sonakshi Sinha and her family neither confirmed nor denied the wedding rumours. The actress reacted to the rumours by saying it's her choice and no one else should be concerned about it. In a conversation with iDiva, the actress said:
"Firstly, it's nobody's business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don't know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn't bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?"

According to reports, the wedding is on June 23, 2024, followed by a reception at night. As reported, the event will be held at Shilpa Shetty's restaurant, Bastian. Sonakshi's father, Shatrughan Sinha shared that he is a happy and proud father and would support Sonakshi's decision regardless of who she chooses to marry. On the other hand, her brother, Luv, stated that he had no involvement with the wedding.
