Sonakshi Sinha has decided to sell her sea-facing home in Mumbai, where she got married to Zaheer Iqbal in June 2024. Now, we have got to know the truth about it.
Sonakshi Sinha has been in the news ever since reports of her lavish house in Mumbai going up for sale surfaced online. The expansive house, located in Bandra West, is the same place where the actress got married to Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024. Sonakshi Sinha's luxurious apartment is reportedly available for sale for Rs. 25 crore. However, Sonakshi has not reacted to the buzz.
Meanwhile, a report in the ETimes stated that Sonakshi Sinha is selling her apartment as she has now bought a new house. For those unaware, Zaheer Iqbal, who made his Bollywood debut with the film, The Notebook, in 2019, comes from a family that runs a construction business. A source close to Sonakshi revealed the real reason behind her selling the house and said:
"Sonakshi has bought a bigger apartment in a building that Zaheer is developing."
According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Sonakshi Sinha is selling her home and has contacted a real estate agent about it. The agent took to his Instagram account and mentioned that the luxurious sea-facing home at Aureate Building, Bandra Reclamation, is up for sale for Rs. 25 crores. The 4200 sq. ft. apartment was earlier a 4 BHK, but Sonakshi converted it into a spacious 2 BHK with decks. The actress' gorgeous apartment is equipped with multiple modern amenities and classy furniture.

Last year, on Diwali, Sonakshi Sinha shared a glimpse of her home with the Bombay Times and revealed why she decided to buy her own home. The actress shared that her apartment was a special place for her as it was the first house she bought on her own. Sonakshi added that she was inspired by her dad, Shatrughan Sinha, to make her decision. In her words:
"It was because of my dad (Shatrughan Sinha) that I wanted to buy my own house. He fondly talks about the first house that he bought after he came to Mumbai from Patna, which he still owns. It's a 1BHK apartment at Bandstand (Bandra). For him, it's like his palace. Seeing his excitement, I always wanted to buy a house on my own and it's a special feeling."
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a registry wedding on June 23, 2024, followed by a grand reception. Sonakshi turned into a minimal bride as she opted for a cream-hued chic saree with floral patterns embroidered in thread. She teamed her drape with a simple striped blouse. The bride wore a vintage necklace featuring precious gemstones and pearl drops, matching earrings, and a stack of bangles to complete her look. Subtle makeup, a bindi, and a white roses-adorned bun hairdo added stars to her bridal look.
