According to the latest reports, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will have a registered wedding on June 23, 2024, followed by a reception.
Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha has been leading the headlines, courtesy of her wedding rumours. She will reportedly tie the knot with her longtime partner, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23, 2024. However, the actress and her family haven't confirmed the ongoing speculations. Meanwhile, the latest report mentioned that Zaheer and Sonakshi will have a registered marriage, as their wedding invite has no mention of an actual wedding.
In a candid interaction with Zoom, Sonakshi Sinha’s friend, who wished to be anonymous, talked about the actress' upcoming wedding and shared that he/she had received an invitation for the same. The friend also added that Sonakshi and Zaheer already had a registered marriage or will do so on June 23, but there won't be an elaborate wedding. The source was quoted as saying:
“I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23. But there’s no mention of an actual wedding. From what I know, they have already gone through a registered marriage, or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there’s not going to be any elaborative wedding as such, just a party.”

For those who don't know, the news about Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding came a month after the premiere of SLB's web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, wherein the actress played the dual role of 'Rehaana' and 'Fareedan'. While no official confirmation has been made about Sonakshi's wedding ceremony, the sources close to her family told the news agency, PTI that the reports are true. However, when The Times Of India reached out to Sonakshi's brother, Luv to talk about the matter, he revealed that he was not in Mumbai and added:
"I have no comment or involvement in the matter."
On the other hand, Sonakshi Sinha’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, also addressed the ongoing rumours of his daughter's wedding. Speaking with Times Now, Shatrughan said that he knows as much as the media knows because Sonakshi hasn’t spoken to him about her wedding plans yet. The doting father also mentioned that these days, kids have stopped seeking consent from their families before making important decisions in their lives. However, Shatrughan added that he has complete faith in his daughter that she wouldn't do anything illegal.

As per a report in the Hindustan Times, a source close to Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal revealed that the couple moved in a while ago, and they are all set to tie the knot with the blessings of their families. The source also mentioned that the wedding will take place at the South Mumbai eatery, Bastian, on June 23, 2024, followed by a reception party at night. Sonakshi and Zaheer had been planning the wedding for a long time, and they were waiting for the election to be over as the actress' father was busy with the election.
